What I'm currently working on
Currently building out BackTrack's data visualization features and working on some advanced analytics to predict feeling good on race day.
BackTrack habits is also getting optimized to incorporate auto-filling from wearable tech (where it makes sense, of course).
Currently using the KCCTFCA historical results to build a searchable database of each school's history of placing at state TF & XC. Potentially with school records and state placers available as well, if KSHSAA's champions database provides accurate enough info.
Also I still gotta add my mental skills and wellness program projects from ESU to the featured list. Just gotta find the files...
And maybe add those video projects I made
Helpful tools I use from across the internet
Adjusted XC time comparisons. This thing takes college XC times and adjusts them according to course & race conditions so that you can compare across different meets, distances, etc.
TFRRS doesn't have a virtual meets section like MileSplit does, so this tool pulls TFRRS data and allows you to create virtual meets.
The World Athletics points tables allow you to compare performances across different events and disciplines using a standardized points system. Input your times and find out what your points are
The coaches association has historical results for Kansas XC and TF state meets dating back to their inception.
Kansas XC/TF Newsletter from my podcast co-host, Maxx Bradley. He also runs the KSXCT&F (KansasRunning) social media accounts.
TFRRS altitude converter for adjusting performance times based on elevation and track size.
MileSplit's oldest and most useful tool that converts marks to similar events
My roommate from NW Missouri, Riley Witt, has a business selling low-cost bicarbonate supplements for middle distance athletes.
